Rajkot: Chairman of Minister Vijay Kupani during Kuck’s visit on Thursday announced agriculture and veterinary lectures in the district for the benefit of farmers.
CM is in Bhuj to attend the state-level program ‘Kisan Sanman Divas’ as part of a series of programs held to celebrate the settlement of five years of responses in the office.
Rupani, claiming that the government worked for the prosperity of farmers, registering work carried out by his government.
“It is a historic step to provide electricity for agriculture during the day.
Starting today 1,400 villages have been borne by ‘Suryoday’ Kisan scheme ‘which provides electricity to farmers,” said Kantani.
He claimed that all credit brought narrow water to Kutp and Saurashtra went to BJP.
“We want to make the Gujarat model where farmers grow dollars and pounds on their agriculture by growing agricultural products that are in demand abroad,” said Kantani.
He further added that in the last five years a new 5.5 lakh electric connection for agriculture was given and his government spent RS 19,000 Crore for product procurement at the minimum support price (MSP).
CM also explored the congress who said that the opposition spilled crocodile tears for farmers for years, while real work for the welfare of the Agricultural Community was carried out by the BJP government in Gujarat and at the center.
Kupani accused the farmers who protested even shot dead during the Congress government in Gujarat.
