New Delhi: Kicking Delhi’s anti-dust campaign on Thursday, the Minister of Environment Gopal Rai conducted a surprise inspection in Mathura Road and issued a fine of Rs 5 Lakh at L & T, Project Proponert for Underpass Dust Pragati, after finding a violation dust norm in place.
Rai also launched a special web portal to monitor compliance with dust norms, which would allow any construction that occurred in Delhi to make online payments and send self-assessment data about whether government guidelines were being met or not.
