(RVNL) will do renovation work and new facilities will begin functioning in August 2022,” said Sahu.
The RS 2.30 Crore project will include a double building scattered in the area of ​​10,674 sq.ft.
The new building will have an air-conditioned retirement room, one class waiting room, a table for booking tickets and ATM kiosks, among others, under one roof.
Apart from this, a Post RPF, Outpost GRP, the parcel room and a warehouse will also appear.
Wifi facilities and vehicles operated with batteries to transport passengers inside the platform are also offered.
In addition, leg bridges above the station and the extension of the platform will also be carried out as part of the renovation project.
“Facilities at the station are based on traffic volume and with passenger traffic growth, the facilities will be increased,” said an RVNL official who chose anonymity when asked about facilities that tended to appear at the station.
Located 10 km from Tatanagar on the Howrah-Nagpur-Mumbai railroad, 35 pairs of practicing long distances and short distances, most of the West and North, passes adityapur every day.
Although there are no passenger trains from Adityapur, almost two dozen trains have stopped there.
With two platforms and six tracks, this station mostly serves the residents of Adityapur and Kandra in the side by side by side.
“Two important Bihar-bind trains, namely Tata-Chhapra Express and Patna Express, have many takers in Adityapur but since the pandemic struck, this train does not stop at the station again,” said the leader of the Sureshdhari local congress.

“In the process of renovation, two toilets were dismantled at the station a few months ago, thus, causing problems for passengers,” said Adityapur Resident S K Tiwary.
