Gurugram: The Government Probe, was ordered after large-scale deviations in land applicants who came to light in 2020, have found that nearly 22,000 illegal land registrants are run in three districts of the Gurugram – Gurgaon Division, Rewari and Mahendergarh – between 2017 and 2021.
Of the amount , more than 15,000 are in the district of Gurugram.
Through illegal registrars, land is told as a controlled area – which has certain protection – diverted for construction, officials said.
Investigation by the Gurugram Division Commissioner has also found involvement of a total of 150 income and retirees – 119 Patwaris and 31 Tehsildars – in three districts in facilitating and implementing illegal registrants.
This, officials said, leading to the creation of several resettlements without permission in the city.
Toi has learned that the state government has directed deputy commissioners from three districts to prepare accusations of all officials who serve and former officials.
A senior government officer said, “The state government has decided to start a disciplinary action against 119 patwaris, including 76 in Gurugram, which is involved in changing the nature of land use in income records that facilitate a large number of illegal registrars in large numbers of violations of 7A development and regulations Haryana Act The Urban Region, 2017.

” Gurgaon District was told as a controlled area based on laws that did not allow the distribution of land parcels to plot and develop colonies without the approval of the city and the State Planning Department.
Even so, officials said, a large number of illegal registrants were executed that facilitated the development of unauthorized colonies in Sohna, Bhondsi, Sultanpur, Farukhnagar, Pataudi and other regions in Gurgaon.
In 2020, the state government, in unprecedented steps, has stopped land registration after a series of illegal registration made during the locking revealed.
The government then takes the entire online registry process, with NOC from the city department and mandatory state planning.
In 2021, the government directed the Division Commissioner to investigate illegal registrants and officials involved in those in Gurgaon.
Then, all the commissioners of the State Division were directed to start a similar probe.
The scope of the investigation is to identify each registry carried out violating section 7A and officials responsible for this.
So far, the Gurugran and Karnal division investigative reports have been submitted to the state government.
Nishat Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of the newly appointed Gurgaon Commissioner, said that “the action will be taken against those who have been found involved in land registry deviations.
