Lasika Mitra’s campaign helped fight vaccine doubts between people and DK people

Nearly 3,000 volunteers from 35 colleges have called for people in their homes, and convinced people to take vaccines, and protect themselves against Covid.
“The results are encouraging, and we hope that NSS volunteers remain part of this campaign until the end of November.
While we vaccinate around 5,000 to 7,000 people per day before, the number has increased to ten thousand since the launch of this initiative,” said Dr.
Kishore Kumar.
Commissioner MCC Akshy Sridhar, meanwhile, said that NSS volunteer services have also been asked for the campaign ‘Har Ghar Dousak (Door-To Door Vaccination), launched on November 3 and is scheduled for November 30.
“They have been in charge of answering the help channel in our Covid war room, among other tasks,” he said.
As on Friday, the administration of 24.9 doses of Lakh Vaccine Covid has been recorded in Kannada Dakshina, where 9.4 lakh is for the second dose.
