KIA Carens MPV is scheduled to be launched in India on February 15.
Reservations for Kia Carens are taking place with the number of orders pegged at Rs 25000.
Shipping for Carens will begin in March this year.
Price is a key factor in Karen’s main success, but after what we have seen and pushed, there was no doubt that Kia had another winner in her hand as long as they did not exit the price itself.
In the absence of a 2.0 L gasoline engine (at Alcazar), Sunroof Panorama and the view system of around 360 degrees, Karen must be aggressively valued and not only competitively.
Talking about Kia Carens, Kia calls it a recreational vehicle and basically this is a three-line MPV.
In front, he got the new ‘tiger face design’ Kia with LED headlamps and DRL, a 16-inch double tone alloy wheel.
Behind, the sport leads the back light with a led strip running along boot.
Moving inward, the car gets a large 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system with all kinds of connectivity options and connected car technology, digital instrument clusters, electrical sunroofs, etc.
Cars get safety features such as six airbags, ABS, ESC, hill-start assists, all wheel disc brakes, TPMS, and rear parking sensors as standard in all variants.
Kia Carens will be available with a choice of diesel engines and gasoline.
Level Entry can be ordered with a gasoline engine 115HP, 1.5 liters while the machine is 140HP, 1.4-liter, the available turbo-gasoline will be available in a higher variant.
Carens will also come with a 115HP, 1.5 liter diesel engine.
The gearbox option will include a six-speed manual transmission that will be standard on 1.5 liter gasoline and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.
The seven-speed DCT gearbox will only be available with a 1.4-liter turbo-gasoline.
KIA Carens will be available in five trim – premium, prestige, prestige plus, luxury, and plus plus.
Kia Carens will compete with Hyundai Alcazar, Mg Hector Plus and Tata Safari.
