Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar died today at the age of 92 years.

Lata Mangeshkar lovingly referred to as the ‘Nightingale of India’.
He stepped into the singing at the age of 13 and recorded his first song in 1942.
In his career stretched seven decades, he had to get more than 30,000 credit in various languages.
Lata Mangeshkar has become the voice behind popular songs such as ‘Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai’, ‘Raam Teri Ganga Maili’, ‘Oak Radha Ek Meera’ and ‘Didi Tera Devar Deewana’ for some people.
LAT Mangeshkar was awarded with Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award in 1969, Padma Vibhushan, second highest civilian award in 1999 and the highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna in 2001.
He was also given to the French highest civilian award, ‘Officier de la Legion D’Honneur ‘(Officer Legion Honor) in 2009.
