Prasagraj: The 30-year-old Lekhpal was found dead in a mysterious state in rented accommodation in a table block in Pocket Trans Yamuna here on Thursday.
Lekhpal was identified as Dhirendra Kumar.
The police said the deceased was a native population of Ahirara Village in Kaushambi Regency and posted at the Tehsil desk for the past two years.
SAURABH SP (Trans Yamuna) Dixit told Ti that the body was sent for Post Mortem to find out the exact cause of death.
The deceased’s body was found in its rented accommodation room in the table area on Thursday morning, he added.
Initial investigations revealed that there were no signs of injury to the deceased’s body.
On Thursday morning, when Lekhpal did not come out of his house, his colleagues were suspicious and then found him dead in the house.
