Lucknow: Panic won in Gudamba and areas side by side after the leopard was seen moving through the housing locality bylane in Lucknow on Saturday night.
A team of forestry departments was rushed to a place to trap cats, which seem to deviate into the city of the forests in the coexist Barbanki district.
Leopard movements were arrested on CCTV cameras installed in residential areas in the Gudamba area.
Informed by locals, the police team reached the place and traced officials from the Ministry of Forestry.
At least half a dozen teams have been placed in the Adilnagar area, Kalyanpur and Paharpur in the Gudumba area.
Although forest officials conduct extensive preliminary operations in and around the area where the leopard is seen in CCTV footage but fails to trap cats.
