Letter: Police ordered four diamond entrepreneurs on Wednesday for allegedly deceiving other diamond entrepreneurs Rs 5.43 Crore.
The defendant bought rough diamonds from Belgium through a complainant in 2018 and 2019 but did not make a payment for it.
The police ordered Deveraj Maniya, his brothers and sisters Dalsukh, Ashok and relative Dinesh because of allegations of cheating with Jivraj Dakhra, a resident of L H Road.
The defendant was first developed with Dakhra and after winning his belief, they began to buy rough diamonds past him.
The defendant visited Belgium in November 2018 and made the first purchase through the Dakhra RS 96 Lakh.
They then bought rough diamonds in January and February 2019.
Because the credit period in accordance with their business terms was not required to make payments immediately.
When Dakhra asked for payment, the defendant began to threaten it.
The defendant threatened Dakhra that they would make him arrested in a criminal case.
They also threatened to make him killed.
“The complainant alleged that the way the defendant refused to pay it could be a previously planned fraud.
After questioning the defendant, we will get more details about this case,” police said.
