Vadodara: The additional session court on Wednesday sentenced two men who had grasped a little girl in Mememuk Navlakhi in the city in 2019 and sentenced to life imprisonment.
The court also fined prisoners – Kishan Mathasuriya and Jaso Solanki – RS 50,000 each in addition to living in their lifetime.
The court has also ordered to provide compensation of Rs 7.5 lakh to rape victims.
“We have demanded a death sentence to be accused of being based on Pocso law.
The court records the severity of the crime and punishes them undergoing a lifelong imprisonment.
We have strong evidence to prove their crimes,” said Praveen Thakkar, the Public Prosecutor.
The court gave judgment 332 pages where he punished accused of rape, kidnapping, attack and looting apart from Pocso Law.
