Vadodara: The police have ordered and detained a Chhani resident under the prevention of anti-social laws (PASA) to allow the livestock to deviate on the streets of the city.
Rohit Bharwad was sent to prison in Bhavnagar.
The police said that Bharwad had six violations registered with him.
“Bharwad was accused of criminal intimidation, voluntarily causing injury and also under the prevention of cruelty towards animal actions.
Bharwad used to let his lone freely on the road and often experienced fights with people.
It creates a dangerous situation for people on the road,” police said .
The police added that they had warned other livestock owners not to let their livestock roam the streets.
“Those who live the lives of people in danger by allowing livestock to deviate on the road will be ordered as wild livestock often causes an accident,” police added.
Four days ago, a BJP leader was attacked by a wild cow at Makrand Desai Road.
Jagruti Pathak said that he suffered an injury to his head.
He registered a violation of guilty murders who did not amount to the murder of an unknown person, which allowed cattle on the road, at the Gotri police station.
The Mayor Keyur Rokadia promises tight action and says that the incident will not be considered mild because they can cause loss of life.
On Monday, a car was upside down when the driver tried to avoid some of the cows that suddenly got lost on the road.
In October, the Head of BJP Country C Paatil had attracted rokadia for the increasing threat of wild livestock in the city.
Rokadia was allowed to red-faced when Paatil said that all city companies in the state have begun to work on lost livestock problems but the work carried out in Vadodara is below expectations.
