Lucknow: More than two decades returned, ELDECO-II was developed near Rae Bareli Road with a vision to provide better quality of life to residents.
Vegetable authorities of citizenship and development for many years, however, have made housing colonies uninhabited.

This project is estimated to cost around RS 5 Crore.
Chief Engineer Lda Indushekhar Singh told the Toi, “For years, Lake Eldeco water has been contaminated by the surrounding water sources that are not processed, leakage from damaged sewerage and dispose of solid waste.
Lda aims to rejuvenate eternal lake by using bio-remediation components , phytoremediation and bio-engineering.
“” It will be the first attempt in the state and will be a pilot project for other water bodies in the city and country, “he added.
Alok Singh’s assistant engineer, said, “In bioremediation, microbial colonies break down or remove toxins and harmful substances from water and soil, while Phyto remediation involves the growth of vetiver plants for contaminant detention in the soil, surface water, and groundwater.” “We hope that Rejuvenation projects will begin to show results in nine to 12 months, “he added.
Resident Eldeco II Neeraj Kumar said, “It took two decades for the authorities to realize the importance of the lake.
Hopefully, they will also recover damaged roads.”
