Kolkata: Salt Lake and Sector V Area Watloogs for several hours on Thursday after a heavy local shower mantra in East Kolkata.
Some stretch sector V, including the main highway that leads from the SDF building to Salt Lake bypass and stretching next to RDB Boulevard, flooded.
The authority of the Nabadiganta Industry Authority (Ndita) said that the four V pump stations of the V sector must be operated to drain storm water.
Water recedes in several hours.
