New Delhi: Apple has some good news for Homepod users.
Cupertino-based technology giant has re-introduced lossless support and Dolby Atmos with spatial audio support for its smart speakers.
Apple introduced Apple lossless music and spatial audio in May this year, the company then said that homeEpod mini and homepod will receive support later.
The company then adds lossless support in beta, but then removes it before the official version of the software version 15.
Now the online report shows that Apple again adds lossless support for Homepod and Mini HomePod.
According to reports by 9to5mac, Apple once again introduced the two features in the beta version 15.1.
It is expected that with the final version of these two features will come with Apple Smart Speakers.
Users who run Homepod Beta software can now activate features in the home application by tapping home, media and music settings.
For those who are unconscious, lossless music includes audio files that managed to keep original data when certain songs are arranged.
Many songs when compressed loss ‘originality’ – something that is preserved lossless audio files.
Apple uses ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) to preserve each single bits of the original audio file.
This means fans will be able to hear their favorite songs exactly like artists creating them in the studio.
Spatial audio, on the other hand, is a deep sound technology that makes experience more like life and better.
However, spatial audio on Android will work with a telephone that supports Dolby atmos.
