Chennai: Close the missing wheel hub helped the Tamil Nadu police identify and intercept the car carrying former Minister of Aiadmk K T Rajenthra Bhalaji.
After the game hid and searched for 20 days, he was arrested in Hassan, Karnataka, on Wednesday.
Police said the former minister, was accused of taking money from people who promised their government work, had avoided the arrest by changing three vehicles – all belonging to Krishnagiri District BJP President Ramakrishnan.
He had escaped from Hosur to Karnataka and stopped using a cellphone.
Police Virudhunagar, who owned a warrant for his arrest, missed him several times.
So the police team from Dharmapuri, which borders Karnataka, was called to help.
A team led by R Sudhakar, IG, West Zone, chased him for three days, covering almost 250 km to Sakleshpur, before arresting him.
