Lucknow: The surge in Covid-19 cases forced the district government to act on Wednesday.
In an emergency meeting, District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash, issued instructions to continue the operation of Covid Hospital on the Hindustan Aeronautics campus Limited (HAL) in the next four days.
The Ministry of Health is also instructed to check the status of bed, medicine, oxygen supply and power in government and private hospitals within two days and submit reports.
Lucknow Municipal Corporation is directed to make the micro detention zone around the house of Covid patients in house isolation.
Below, the barricade will be placed around the house with stickers on the wall outside that the area has been stated by the micro detention zone.
The Civic body will also ensure regular regular sanitization.
“Patients or contacts that are found to violate house isolation norms will be sent to various institutions governed by administration for isolation,” said DM.
The Ministry of Health is also asked to increase the number of fast response teams that will monitor the health of patients in house isolation and submit a status report every day with the medical head (CMO).
The team will also carry out sampling that focuses on all dental and medical health care facilities in the city.
