Lucknow: Mega Vax Drive aims for 80,000 JAB today

Lucknow: Even as 23,174 people took the first dose or the two Covid vaccines on Thursday, the district authorities announced to drive mega vaccination on Friday with the target of analyzing around 80,000 people in one day.
Drive Thursday was conducted at 137 centers throughout the district.
So far, more than 40 doses of lakh have been given in Lucknow, the highest in the state.
While 16.15 lakh people have been vaccinated in part with a shot, 12 lakh has completed a two-dose course.
Mega Drive on Friday will be conducted at 367 booths at 176 centers.
At least 250 people will be inoculated in every room.
Of these, 104 centers will be specialized camps arranged at work, religious places, government offices, apartments, schools and colleges.
People can just walk with a photo ID that is aquacquited for vaccination or ordering a slot in advance for Jab, the official said.
Meanwhile, three other Covid-19 cases were recorded on Thursday, while one patient recovered.
The number of active cases stands at 36.
