Chennai: A suspension of punishment to the Auditor S Gurmajahy, Madras High Court has arrested the General Advocate of Tamil Nadu from continuing further with the application that is looking for his approval to start criminal insults against it.
On October 27, 2021, General Advocate Tamil Nadu (AG) R Shunmugasundam remembered the order passed by its predecessor Vijay Narayan rejected approval to start criminal insults against gururgreate from the judiciary.
Given the order passed on March 31, Shunmugasundaram decided to reconsider this problem.
Harmed, Gururghy moved the High Court challenging the order remembered.
Justice Anita Sumanth on Thursday directed AG to hold a process and submit a counter to the application.
The problem is related to the application transferred by Advocate S Doraisamy and S Kumaradevan seeking AG approval from the Advocate General to move criminal insults over the court process against Gururgrahy.
Reducing his approval, then AG said in March 31: “Although some comments related to the judiciary can be avoided, the statement was taken overall, intended to explain systematic weaknesses and delays in investigations, investigations, administration, investigations, executive and legal processes and it too Based on the personal experience of gururuhurthy in pursuing certain cases of politicians.
“Furthermore, the two advocates moved the petition for orders on March 31 and allowed them to begin the criminal insulting process.
Advice for Petitioner V Elangovan proposed that the command of the dismissal was skipped at that time on the wrong facts.
According to the Petitioner, Gururuhy’s statement on January 14 reduced the honesty of HC judges and he must be punished for making a speech insulting under the part 2 (c) insults of the court.
