Letter: Family five, including four women, from Silvassa survived an unusual accident because their car was swept away in the canal channel in Kadodara in the district of Gujarat.
The family was still trapped under the bridge for almost two hours early on Tuesday.

Like a scene from Bollywood film, the family was saved by the Fire and Emergency Service Team (SFES) and police.

After leaving the car, the family holds the body of the car in the middle of a heavy water flow and starts shouting for help.
“Their scream could not be heard under the loud voice of the vehicle on the highway.
They then sent whatsapp messages from only one cellphone that functions to relative in Silvassa,” the officer added.
Because the message was not answered, they made a call WhatsApp because normal calls did not function, the officer got information.
Relatives answered the call and he asked people known in the city of the letter to arrange assistance.
The relatives then reached Kadodara and got information at the nearest Chowki.
The police then reached the point and contacted SFES.
“Initially the police and several locals tried to get into the water, but because of the stream of weight and we did not have special equipment, we could not do much,” said a GRD Jawan.
“The family relatives of Silvassa also reached a point when the rescue continued and since then the gap we can estimate that the family remains trapped under a bridge amid heavy water flow for almost two hours,” said an officer SFES.
