Mumbai: While the state government has not placed restrictions on suburban train trips, both western (WR) and Central Railways (CR) have increased drives from Thursday to punish people without masks and do not follow the appropriate behavior.
Monthly statistics released on Thursday showed 14,812 non-guided commuters stuck in the suburban section of WR from April to December this year, and RS 21 Lakh was collected properly.
In the suburb of the main Cr and port, 2,735 commuters were stuck in the same period and fine RS 5.3 lakh recovered.
In December only, more than a thousand commuters were fined colle in Clative on WR and CR because they did not wear a mask.
