Mumbai: Maharashtra recorded 807 positive cases of new Coronavirus in the last 24 hours and 20 deaths, the State Health Department said on Saturday, adding that there was no new case of the Omicron variant detected.
Calculate the Omicron case in Maharashtra remain at 17 so far.
While seven of them have been up so far, the number of active cases of Omicron variants now stands at eight, he said.
With a new addition, the calculation of Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra rose to 66.43,179 and the death toll became 1.41,243, the department said.
Swab samples of 107 people have been sent for the genome sequence so far, where the 51 was awaited, he said.
The fatality rate of Maharashtra cases is now at 2.12 percent.
A total of 869 patients were removed from the hospital, taking the recovery calculation in Maharashtra to 64.91,805 so far, said, leaving the country with 6,452 active cases with a recovery rate of 97.72 percent.

Pune Division added 212 cases, Nashik Division 120, Kolhapur 24, Aurangabad 18, Latur 24, Akola Seven and Nagpur Seven, said the Ministry of Health.
The Nagpur and Kolhapur division did not report death every day.
