Mumbai: On the day of gasoline rates in Parbhani see the steepest increase in Maharashtra to Rs 115 per liter and up by 33 Paise to Rs 112.44 in Mumbai, Congress said it would launch the agitation of countries from 14 to 29 to protest the price of spiraling fuel and important commodities.
The decision was taken at the first meeting of the State Executive Committee led by the President of Nana Patole on Thursday.
The price of gasoline in Thane and Navi Mumbai rose to Rs 112.58 per liter and diesel Rs 103.39.
Diesel rose 37 Paise to Rs 103.26 in Mumbai.
In the state, Amravati saw the highest increase to Rs 104.80.
“Since Narendra Modi took control of seven years ago, ordinary people were at the end of the recipient and the price of essential commodities had exceeded the reach of ordinary people,” Patole said.
