Mumbai: Daily Covid case in Mumbai (427) on Thursday contributed 27% of the state calculation of 1,573 cases.
The victim rose to five on Thursday from four it remained stable for the past few days.
Maharashtra has recorded under 2,000 cases for the past week.
It reported 39 deaths on Thursday, a day after registering 21 deaths, the lowest in 8 months.
With this, the total state case expenses rose to 65.98 lakh and death was at 1,39,925.
Although a little increase in case, BMC officials say “Covid curve” in Mumbai is almost static.
Health Minister Rajesh Tope said the second wave would end and they expect a surge in case after Diwali.
“To reduce surges, we encourage more vaccinations,” Tope said.
But the Nuber vaccine is not encouraging.
“We tried to reach out to a hesitant community to vaccinate,” Tope said.
