Maharashtra: Three protection places are closed on New Year’s Eve

Kolhapur: Two protectioners in Maharashtra Barat will be closed on New Year’s Eve.
While Radhanagari-Dajipur wildlife asylum in Kolhapur will be closed from December 30 to January 1, Sagreshwar Wildlife Sanctuary in Sangli will remain closed on December 31.
Sacred places have been closed to prevent people from partying in forest areas.
The authorities have warned that if anyone found violating the norms in this wildlife or in eight conservation reserves around Kolhapur, the Ministry of Forestry will take action under the Protection Law of Margasatwa, 1972.
Clement Ben, said the head of the forest conservator, said, “Kindrautam will be closed to the public on December 31, 2021, and January 1, 2022.”
