In districts with 1.1 crore people, there are six companies that include urban, countryside and tribal communities.
While the intelligent and vibrant urban population immediately received vaccinations, there was resistance from rural communities and tribes.
“Tribal villages in Shahpur, for example, have rejected modern drugs, so we have to give them time to receive vaccination,” the collector said.
He said the scene would change so the rice harvest season was finished.
“We are optimistic about discussing the entire population with at least one dose in December,” said Dr.
Sachin Desai, state immunization officer.
