MySuru: MySuru District Legal Service Service (DLSA) Secretary of the Devaraj Bhute member on Wednesday asked parents to educate their children and ensure they did not become a child worker.
He spoke after exploring the work awareness campaign and posters poster held by the District Administration, DLSA, Zilla Panchayat, the Ministry of Manpower, the Mission of National Children’s Workers in Mysore.
Forcing children under 14 years to work is a violation that can be punished and parents of the vulnerable part of the community must give an important meaning to educate their children, he said.
Speaking on that occasion, the assistant commissioner of NAZIA SULTIANANA said the main objective of this encouragement was to merege people, parents about the adverse effects of child labor and spread awareness of the preventive law of child labor, programs initiated by the government in the middle and country to Children’s empowerment and elimination of child labor.
Autorickshaws will tour the district starting August 18 for a week distributing pamphlets and leaflets to people.
