MySuru: Mines and Geology Minister Halappa Achar on Saturday directing authority to complete all ongoing projects in the specified time.
He spoke at a review of the review of various programs initiated by mine and geology, the development of women and children and the department of the empowerment of senior citizens, at the ZP auditorium in Chamarajanagar.
Halappa said that every mine mine and geological officials must hold a committee meeting the task force to monitor the progress of government programs.
“The action will begin with officials who fail to complete the task including providing an objection certificate within the deadline,” he said.
Halappa just said those who had bought a license for blasting must be allowed to use explosives in the mine.
“Zonal officials will be responsible if there are violations or tragedies when exploding illegally,” he added.
MLA N Mahesh said the authorities had to ensure the road was not damaged due to mining activities in this district.
“Mining activities also do not have to disturb the forest zone and eco-sensitive.
There are complaints that the weighing of stones transporting trucks is not done correctly.
The authorities must ensure that all rules and regulations are followed without violations,” he said.
When Mahesh said the officials filed archiving cases against the villagers who lived on the banks of the Cauvery river which were caught carrying river sand in Bullock-Carts, Halappa directed officials not to trouble villagers in Bullock-Carts.
“Actions must begin only when villagers are found to sell sand in the black market or load sand to the truck to transport elsewhere,” he said.
Halappa also directs health authorities to conduct regular health checks of children suffering from malnutrition and provide protein-rich foods.
“For AirWadist who does not have their own building, officials must receive support from MLA to get land to build buildings,” he said and directed authority to prevent children’s marriage.
