Gurgaon: As part of a national campaign on malnutrition, the Department of Women and the development of children will travel special from January 8 to 14.
Under the campaign, the department will hold a ‘healthy child competition’ not to only produce awareness on parameters consider a healthy child but also gives incentives to parents who actively cooperate with the department to overcome the problem of malnutrition.
In the campaign, special emphasis will be on components such as the convergence of poshan abhiya, ICT applications, community mobilization and capacity building to bring behavioral changes.
Providing information, District Program Officer of the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS), Sunaina Khatri, said, “This campaign aims to produce awareness and give incentives to people to overcome malnutrition problems.
In this campaign, through components such as the convergence of poshan abhiyaan , ICT application, community mobilization, capacity building, incentives and gifts, we will aim at behavioral changes and make it mass movements.
