Kolkata: West Bengal Bengal Head Mamata Banerjee on Monday went to Lucknow to campaigned for the Samajwadi Party (SP) and gave a call to defeat BJP in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly poll.
Banerjee went to Lucknow tonight.
He will hold a press conference along with Akhilesh Yadav, National President of SP and virtual rally in Lucknow on February 8, according to sources at parties.
“Akhilesh Yadav has invited me to go there and campaign for SP.
We (TMC) want BJP to be defeated and Akhilesh to win Uttar Pradesh.
We all have to support him in the fight against BJP.
