Sambalpur: The normal life is paralyzed in the Sambalpur district on Tuesday because Bandh Dawn-to-Dusk is called by Sambalpur District BJP.
Bandh was summoned at the request of the elimination of the Minister of State for the house, Shankar Mishra, because of the allegations of his closeness with the main attendance of the murder case of Mamita, Gobinda Sahu.
In the city of Sambalpur, shops and businesses, government and private offices, markets other than private and government financial institutions are still closed due to agitation.
BJP workers also look picket in various parts of the city.
However, vehicle movements, are not disturbed during agitation.
Similarly, the situation applies in the sub-division of Kuchinda and Rairakhol in the district.
“We demanded the elimination of Shankar Misra in addition to the CBI investigation into the incident.
The state government tried to protect the minister.
We demand justice for the Vicicem family,” said Aswini Majhi, President of the Sambalpur District, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
BJD, however, accused that BJP did politics about this problem.
“This is a sensitive problem.
Investigation in this case is going on and whoever is involved will be taken to court.
But by calling bandh, BJP misleads the investigation process,” said Sanjaya Baboo, a BJD spokesman.
“Because BJP has no achievement to tell people in front of Pancanti elections, they do politics about sensitive problems,” he said.
