Rajkot: A member of a man who has consumed poison in Rajkot took him to a temple, not a hospital and he gave up on his way.
Registering cases of accidental death, Division B police said that Lala Rabari (32), a driver with the profession, consumed poison on Thursday.
After he began to vomit, his family who studied the faith of the blind people knew that he had consumed poisons and rushed to a temple in Wankaner to reduce the effects of poison rather than getting medical attention.
Rabari died on his journey and his body was taken to Rajkot Hospital.
