Rajkot: The urge to exude’enjoys’ and obtain a feeling significance, though a fictitious one, on sociable websites developed a 28-year-old farmer out of Amreli’s Shivad village at issue.
Vijay Sisnada was Friday detained for making a bogus Facebook accounts of Amreli superintendent of authorities Nirlipt Rai.
J P Bhandari, deputy superintendent of police (DySP), Amreli, supported the detained accused made the bogus report of IPS officer Rai so as to garner’enjoys’ about the social websites.
“Sisnada doesn’t have criminal ago,” a police officer said.
“Here really is the screenshot of this bogus Facebook profile created in the title of SP Amreli.
We’ve initiated legal actions.
The articles and comments could be dismissed,” Amreli SP Nirlipt Rai tweeted Friday following the accused was detained.
“Sisnada accessed pictures of Nirlipt Rai from his private FB accounts and used the photographs as profile images of this bogus social networking accounts.
He had to post opinions about other social networking reports and those customers might think that it had been that the Amreli SP commenting in their articles.
The domain of this bogus FB accounts has been SPNirlipt Rai and profile title has been SP Amreli.
We came to understand that accused Sisnada also wrote derogatory opinions on a person’s post and that is the way the bogus FB accounts came to notice of this police officer,” police sources said.
The accused was booked under various sections of IPC such as 469 (forgery), 471 (Whoever fraudulently or dishonestly applications as genuine-document or digital document ), 419 (cheating by personation), 501 (printing or engraving issue regarded as defamatory) along with other segments of IT Act.
