Mumbai: A man allegedly killed his 40-year-old neighbor after the last playing loud music outside his home in Mumbai and refused to reduce his volume, a police officer said on Thursday.
The incident took place on Wednesday night in the Ambujwadi area of the Malwani area, he said.
The deceased, was identified as Surendra Kumar Gunnar, listened to several songs on the recorder while sitting outside the mound, the official said.
His neighbor Saif Ali Chand Ali Sheikh (25) asked him to lower the volume, but Gunnar refused to do it.
Sheikh then allegedly hit him and banged it to the floor.
The victim fell unconscious after excessive bloody.
He rushed to the nearest hospital where the doctor declared him to die before entering, the official said.
The defendant was then arrested under the Indian Criminal Code Section 302 (murder) and other relevant provisions, he said.
