Thane: A 55-year-old man was found dead and his wife and son lay hurt in a pool of blood in a flat in the Kalyan area in the Thane District on Sunday, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Pramod Baneria, a retired train employee, while the people who injured were Kusum and Lokesh who were 45 years old (27), both of which had been stabbed, said an official.
“Their flats are located in Chikanghar.
Neighbors warn the police about the incident around 1pm.
Prima Facie, it seems that Pramod attacked his wife and son and then ended his life.
Kusum and Lokesh were treated at Sion Mumbai Hospital,” said Inspector Pradip Patil.
