EOW confiscated his identity card which described him as a senior research officer with raw in Delhi.

After capturing the Gahlot from Delhi on Sunday, The EOW produced it before Metropolitan Judge Dwarka, who gave him a five-day transit guarantee and directed him to appear before the Judicial Sub-Division (SDJM) Magvention in Bhubaneswar on or before December on December Or before December 24.
Entrepreneurs based in Delhi Rikab Chand Munot have submitted a complaint with EOW this year against Gahlot and his two colleagues, Suryamani Tripathy and Amit Kumar, because they took Rs 1.17 crore from him and gave him two fake work orders, respectively -masing for RS tones 32.52 crore and 47.52 crore in 2018.
“We caught Tripathy and Kumar, who came from Odisha.

In his complaint, Munot said one of his friends had introduced him to the Gahlot in Delhi in 2017.
Gahlot introduced himself as a senior raw officer, had contact with IAS officers in Odisha.
He demanded Rs 2 Lakh because it facilitated a meeting with senior work department officers.
“I transferred Rs 2 Lakh to his bank account.
After a few days, Gahlot introduced me to Tripathy at Odisha Niwas in Delhi.
Duo assured me to get a multi-crore employment contract related to the supply and installation of the pipe project and bridge paintings.
