Mangaluru: The construction of 100 years old Mangalore City will soon be destroyed for road development work.
The old building of this century, from which city administration began during the British era, it would be destroyed to develop the Kanara room.
In fact, Mangaluru Smart City Limited (MSCL) plans to restore the old century building as a heritage structure.
The proposal in this case was debated by the MSCL Managing Director, Nazeer Mohammed, in 2018.
The plan was to recover the old building with an area of 6,000 square feet, becoming a monument.
MSCL has also invited suggestions from residents, for recovery of buildings and buildings.
