Mangaluru: After drawing a flash because the policy made Evaluator assess 40 answer papers per day, from the previous 30, Mangalore University reversed its order, a lot to eliminate the teaching community.
This step is to speed up the evaluation process, but does not have approval from syndicates.
The university began the evaluation process from Monday.
According to the source involved in the evaluation, MU officials have asked them to assess 40 answer papers per day, but after they protested, reduced to 30 previous papers, and according to the rules, the evaluator can assess only 30 answer papers one day.
“First and foremost, the new rules have no approval from competent authority.
Second, it is not possible to evaluate 40 papers in a day.
Third, even if it was done, evaluator from distant places such as Putture, Sultia and Kundapur will face problems with transportation , “said a lecturer from first-class government college.
Other senior lecturers show serious violations during the evaluation, where the identity of the candidate was disclosed to the Evaluator.
“The coding strip containing the number of rolls of a candidate is distributed to the evaluator, thus violating the confidentiality of the examination.
The roll number consists of a college code, where a person can easily identify which contents have a candidate.
What is the use of coding in the examination, when it is not followed ? “The lecturer was questioned.
When Tii contacted P L Dharma, Registrations (Evaluation), Mangalore University, he said that they pulled orders 40 papers to be evaluated per day, because they did not have permission to do so from syndicate members.
It will create problems while providing payments to the evaluator, he added.
In distributing the coding detail to the Evaluator, Dharma stated that it was the first evaluation that occurred after adopting new multinx software for the exam.
“There are some interference, but we have not yet revealed details about candidates for evaluators.
We have about three complaints about coding problems during the examination, and the necessary actions have been taken,” he said.
