Mangaluru: Sudha, a Detective Dog serving Mangaluru City Police Dog Force for the past 10 years was placed to rest with the Honor of the State on Saturday.
Commissioner of the City Police N Shashi Kumar told reporters that Doberman Pinscher with the department for the past 10 years and has helped resolve some of the leading cases in the Dakshina Kannada area too.
Five months ago he was diagnosed with a tumor, but his health condition deteriorated about a week ago.
He stopped eating two days ago and died around 10:20 a.m.
on Saturday.
