Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Police have arrested five defendants owned by the right organization, because they attacked a group of medical students traveling at the SUV near the Nitk Toll Road Stan in Kapaykal.
The defendant who was arrested was Preetham, Arshith, Abhishek, Srinivas and Rakesh, all of which were residents of Self.
They have been released with a guarantee.
According to the police, the incident took place on Sunday night, when a group of medical students from private medical colleges in Derlakatte was on their way back to the city of Malpe.
The defendant intercepted a vehicle near the Tol Nitk booth, suspected that students from various religions traveled together.
The defendant, after stopping the vehicle, attacked several residents, and also misused them.
The incident video became a viral on social media.
The complainant is the occupant of Kerala, who is studying here.
The case has been registered at the police station.
