Mangaluru: Around 30 to 35 years entering the Campus of the District Education and Training Institute in addition to district prisons between 12:45 a.m.
and 1.15 pm and allegedly attacked three female staff members with machetes on Monday.

Three women including the first division assistant, Stenographer and group D workers have suffered injuries and treated in private hospitals.
Wounded people have been identified as Reena, Gunavathi and Nirmala.
Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar with the official team and Dakshina Kannada Zilla Pancayat CEO Kumar visited sports as soon as the incident was reported.
The Commissioner told reporters that the reason behind the incident was uncertain.
“We have also visited injured staff members treated in private hospitals.” One of them has suffered a head injury and the other two suffered an injury to their faces, back and hands, but were not dangerous.
“When he heard women screaming, prison staff, police and public rushed to their rescue.
The defendant had been taken to detention and was interrogated,” he said.
