Mangaluru: City will get another personal medical college this academic year.
GR Medical College, hospital and research center located in Neermarga have been given permission to start the MBBS course with 150 student intake.
Higher Education is part of the Karavali Group College run by Chairman of Ganesh Rao S.
This institution has received permission from the Medical Assessment and Assessment Board (NMC).
In a press statement, Ganesh Rao said that universities have developed all facilities for MBBS courses, according to NMC and Rajiv Gandhi University norms.
College has a modern hospital equipped with 330 public beds, and 30 beds for emergency treatment, including green categories, yellow categories and red categories, and 60 bed ventilators in the ICU, ICCU, NICU, Triggers, and HDU obstetrics / ICU.
Apart from this, pre-operating beds, post-operative beds, labor beds and eclampsia and septic beds are available.
College has 24 hours of victims, blood banks, central labs, pharmacies, radiology departments, ambulance services, anatomic labs, physiology labs and biochemical laboratories, and hostels of boys and girls on campus.
