New Delhi: The former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been diagnosed with dengue fever but his health condition improved, said AIIMS officials on Saturday.
The 89-year-old congressional official was received at AIIMS on Wednesday after he complained of weakness after a fever.
“Manmohan has been diagnosed with bloody fever but the number of platelets is now increasing and his condition improves,” AIIMS official said on Saturday.
Former PM has been received in a private environment in the center of the hospital cardio-neuro and is under the care of the cardiologist led by Dr.
Nith Nitish.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya met Singh on Thursday and asked about his health.
