Chandigarh: Minister of Haryana Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday paid homage to the father of Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth warnings.
Paying a flower suppret to Gandhi’s portrait, Khattar said the whole life of Bapu was devoted to truth, without violence, sacrifice, love and peace.
Today all ideas need to be implemented in life.
The work carried out by him will always inspire future generations, said the minister.
The father of the nation believes that the greatness of humanity lies in serving the community, he added.
Khattar also paid a rich tribute to Shastri and said that the life of the former Prime Minister was based on high values and principles.
The minister’s chairman said that Shastri, who gave the slogan ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’, was the son of land and the realization of simplicity.
He will always remain a source of inspiration for the entire nation.
