Patna: Intensive allowances forced Maois to release Deepak Prasad (24) in Kajra at around 11pm on Monday, Lakhisarai SP Sushil Kumar said on Tuesday.
Deepak, the son of the PDS dealer, has been kidnapped reported for RS1 Crore Ransom in the lakhisarai district Saturday night.
Maois is famous, Pramod Koda (37), neutralized in a meeting that night, but security forces failed to save Deepak.
Rifle AK-47, more than 100 live cartridges, hand grenades, two IEDs and recovered detonators from the backpack later.
Maois who was very armed had broken through the house of Dealer PDS Bhagwat Prasad in Chaukara under the Bazaar Piri Police Station in the district and kidnapped Deepak on Saturday.
SP said security forces had taken combed operations specifically in the hills because they could not escape from the district border.
“Deepak saw the Kajra train station lamp and slowly down to the hills after the police found it,” he said.
“We know from media reports and other people that Maois demands RS1 Crore Ransom from the Deepak family because of his safe release.
But the family did not tell the police about it,” he said.
SP said more than 20 suspects, included relatives near Maois, were asked intensively.
Who put up pressure on them and finally released Deepak.
Bazaar Sho Piri Police Station, Sho Prajesh Kumar Dubey, said that asking Maois to succeed in crossing Kajra Hill with Deepak, they would cross the Jamui district easily.
“It will be difficult to save Deepak,” he added.
