Pune: Since Pune Municipal Corporation-Run School (PMC) was reopened on February 1, the presence in their main part was more than 35%.
The Civic Education Council is now trying through orientation to ensure that their students and parents are sure to send their children to school, continuing with hybrid education.
The presence in 754 private schools in the city ranges from 31%.
Shivaji Daundkar secondary education officer said the presence of VIII’s standard to X was worth the first day.
At Pune City, a total of 276 PMC schools totaled with 78,091 students, which were attended by 28,119 in the first three days reopened.
The headmaster of the PMC in Chandannagar, Seema Palkar, said, “We have seen a thin presence because schools reopened because people are still hesitant by attending their children.” “We tried to talk to their parents and told them about the safety steps we took,” Palkar added.
There are a total of 754 private schools in the city of Pune with 3,29,165 students.
In the first three days, 1.01,000 students were attended (30.80% of the total).
