NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) on Friday declared Freedom Challenge, intending to research new-age technologies which can help growth-stage startups scale their company.
A cash prize of Rs 10 lakh each will be rewarded with 2 winners for proof of the concept.
The program will pick mature startups that have engineering in electronic, information and AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning) from the fields of virtual and augmented reality, autonomous freedom and automotive remote diagnosticsand automotive servicing efficacy, large data analytics, electrification, internet-of-things, mobility-as-a-service and clever infrastructure.
The new programme has been introduced in partnership with Hyderabad-based innovation intermediary and company incubator T-Hub.
The Freedom Challenge, is available to start-ups such as established players which have a prepared product/solution having an current customer base.
The chosen mature startups from the Freedom Challenge is going to get assistance and mentoring from pros at Maruti Suzuki and also T-Hub.
Including domain information, investor link and testbed.
This will help to further enhance the startups and implement the POC (Proof of Concept) because of its expansion.
Previously in January 2019, MSIL had established their distinctive MAIL (Mobility & Automobile Innovation Laboratory ) programme in partnership with all GHV Accelerator to accelerate the development of the budding startups.
Even though MAIL is an current initiative, Freedom Challenge is just another new programme aimed exclusively at adult or growth-stage startups.Both that the programs will last at a specified periodicity and fortify the frequent goal of driving creations for business efficiencies.
