Yavatmal: Sleuth LCB headed by Pi Pradeep Pardeshi managed to raise the mastermind of ATM robbery in the Yavatmal district.
According to SP from Yavatmal, Dilip Patil Bhujbal, Shreeksant Purushotam Ekhe Solution and Amravati-based FIS service in the Yavatmal District at 2.
SP said that the gang uses a gas cutter for the purpose and sprays black paint on a CCTV camera to avoid being captured in recording.
“The team was sent to Rajasthan, up, Bihar and Haryana to catch gangsters,” Bhujbal said at a press conference on Wednesday.
The team led by Pardeshi with the help of the local police in Haryana Nabbed Mastermind Lyakat Ali Deen Muhammad (40), a resident of Pinagaon Village in Haryana District.
RS1.5 Lakh Cash, Car worth RS10 Lakh, Mobile worth RS10,000, black spray paint and duplicate number plate, with a total worth RS11.6 lakh confiscated.
The defendant had claimed to commit a crime, SP said and added that the defendant also claimed to use oxygen cylinders stolen from the city of Kalammal in Yavatmal for crime.
The cylinder was then thrown away at Ralegaon Jungle, SP said.
A team led by the AMOL Fire Castle Cyber cell has caught two accused of Bihar style.
Duo has claimed to commit a crime of cloning ATMs in the city and transferred the number of their accounts using SBI cards on September 15 and 16 in the counter.
The police team recovered RS1.28 lakh cash and other tools.
