Mumbai: The Cricket Mumbai association has decided to hold a special function on October 29 where he will provide Sunil Gavascar batting legend with a special permanent box, and named the former Indian captain Dilip Vengsarkar at Wankhede Iconic Stadium on October 29 on October 29.
Along with Gavaskar and Vengsarkar, the association, at the meeting urged the Apex board on Monday, decided to invite the former president of the ICC, BCCI and MCA Sharad Pawar to function at the Wankhede Stadium.
“The three have confirmed to us that they will attend our special function,” said Secretary MCA Sanjay rose to TOI.
MCA has decided last year for gavascar gifts a permanent box at the Wankhede Stadium in honor of him on a 50-year occasion since his international debut against West Indies in 1971.
Three Blocks of North Stand will be named after Vengsarkar, who plays.

Vengsarkar will thus join fellow Mumbai Greats Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar to name them in Wankhede.
The function of honoring Gavaskar and Vengsarkar was initially considered held on March 9 this year, but was delayed due to Covid’s problems.
