Pune: Drive mega vaccination against Covid-19 will be held at Seleds Pune Civic from Tuesday.
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will do that in relation to Bajaj Finserv Ltd.
Using the Company’s Social Accountability Fund (CSR), the Company contributed about one dose of Lakh Covishield to the Civic Agency on Monday.
According to PMC officials, around 8-10 Lakh receivers, who have taken their first jab in September, will be eligible for the second dose in December.
Mega vaccination drive will offer them a convenient slot in 180 vaccination sites.
Head of Immunization Head of PMC Suryakant Devkar told TII, “We received about one dose of lakh from the Bajaj Group on Monday.
So, we will start our vaccination drive from Tuesday.
This will continue until we spend our stock from one dose of Lakh, after That’s another dose of lakh will be provided by the Bajaj group.
“Commissioner Municipal Pimpri Chinchwad Rajesh Patil said residents must advance and vaccinate the earliest, after six omicron patients were detected within the boundaries of citizenship.
He said at least 1.99 Lakh residents were due to their second dose at the civilian civilian limit of Chinchwad.
He said the target population of 88% Pimpri Chinchwad was vaccinated with the first dose and around 64% of the population was fully vaccinated.
The district records vaccination of around 1.12 lakh beneficiaries across 703 government and private vaccination sites until 8pm on Monday.
This is the highest vaccination rate in December so far.
The district has now provided 1.37 doses of crore covishield, covaxin and sputnik v, where 83.08 lakh is the first dose and 54.14 lakh is the second.
